Unit 2: Writing about strengths and needs
The previous presentation gave an overview
of the four key areas that must be covered in Section B, as well as the topics (or subheadings) that are sometimes used on EHC plan templates to divide up the information for each
of these four key areas of need.
You will now look in more detail at clearly structuring the information provided in assessment reports in Section B of an EHC plan, by utilising these key area topics or subheadings.
The following information explains in more detail what each of these topics or subheadings refer to, and provides examples of the type of information that should be included within these topics.
